Antigen Long Description: Female BALB/c mice were primed by intraperitoneal immunization with OC-containing cell suspensions from OCL tumors. Supernatants from growth-positive cultures were screened initially for antibody on acetone-fixed OCL tumor imprints using the indirect immunofluorescent techniques.

Chimeric Use Statement: This chimeric human antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Mouse IgG2a format, for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.

Application Notes (Clone): This antibody has been used for immunofluorescent staining of CD13 in human T cell lymphoma lines, observed by confocal fluorescence microscopy (Murray 1995). 22A5 may be useful for the diagnosis and immunophenotyping of leukaemia.
