Clone Name: HL3818
Light Chain: Kappa
Application Note: WB: 1:500-1:3000. *Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the researcher. Not tested in other applications.
Specificity/Sensitivity: This antibody is raised against human RSK1 phosphorylated at Ser380. It cross react with RSK2 when phosphorylated at the corresponding residues - RSK2 Ser386, but does not cross react RSK3 when phosphorylated at the corresponding residues - RSK3 Ser377.
Form: Liquid
Buffer (with preservative): PBS, no preservatives.
Concentration: 1 mg/ml (Please refer to the vial label for the specific concentration.)
Background: This gene encodes a member of the RSK (ribosomal S6 kinase) family of serine/threonine kinases. This kinase contains 2 nonidentical kinase catalytic domains and phosphorylates various substrates, including members of the mitogen-activated kinase (MAPK) signalling pathway. The activity of this protein has been implicated in controlling cell growth and differentiation. Alternate transcriptional splice variants, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized.
