Antigen Long Description: This antibody was generated by infecting mice with 1000 FFU of ZIKV MR-766 followed by a booster at 30d post-infection of ZIKV H/PF/2013, respectively and given a final intravenous boost with live ZIKV DIII (amino acids 299 to 407 of the ZIKV E protein))
Buffer Composition: PBS with 0.02% Proclin 300.
Chimeric Use Statement: This chimeric human antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Mouse IgG2c format, for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.

Specificity Statement: ZV-67 binds to the Zika virus envelope protein at domain III (DIII, LR). No cross-reactivity with other tested flaviviruses has been reported.
Application Notes (Clone): The original mouse IgG2c format has been shown to have neutralizing activity and has been used to label ZIKV infected cells (4% PFA fixation, 0.1% saponin permeabilization). Yi et al. (PMID: 29033368) used this antibody for Western Blotting at a concetnration of 0.5 ug/ml.
