Antigen Long Description: Thymus, spleen and mesenteric lymph nodes isolated from a mouse transgenic for human Vb3 TcR.

Specificity Statement: This antibody binds to human V-beta 3 chain of the T-cell receptor. In particular this antibody binds to the TRBC1 variant but not the TRBC2 variant.

Application Notes (Clone): This antibody can be used to detect the TCR beta chain in a majority (50-75%) of T-cell receptors by flow cytometry, immunofluorescence and can immunoprecipitate the TCR beta protein (variant 1). Recently it has been combined into a chimeric antigen antigen receptor therapy approach to selectively deplete a subset of T-cells in T-cell lymphomas or leukaemias, whilst leaving the non-reactive T-cell subset intact.
