Information: The Elastic Stain Kit is intended for use in histological demonstration of elastin in tissue sections. Demonstration of elastic tissue is useful in cases of emphysema (atrophy of elastic tissue), arteriosclerosis (thinning and loss of elastic fibers) and various other vascular diseases.
