BATs are known for their potent antitumor, anti-inflammatory, and anti-Alzheimers activities. However, Protoescigenin 21-tiglate exhibits antitumor activity, showing inhibition efficacy (IC50) of 38.2 μM and 33 μM against MCF-7 and HeLa cells, respectively.
