Antigen Long Description: The original antibody was raised by panning a dromedary phage display library against VIM-4 M beta L.

Specificity Statement: This antibody is specific for VIM-4 M beta L. The main epitope of this antibody is amino acid 99 to 133.

Application Notes (Clone): The epitope of this antibody was determined using ELISA on different parts of its antigen. The ability of this antibody to inhibit VIM-4 was shown. The presence of this antibody inhibited activity of VIM-4 against imipenem, benzylpenicillin and cephalothin (Sohier et al., 2013; PMID:23289540).
