Antigen Long Description: Single chain variable fragment (scFv)-displaying phages from the IONTAS phage library λ with a phage diversity of 1.6・10^10 were used to select scFvs, which bind biotinylated α-latrotoxin from the Mediterranean black widow spider (L. tredecimguttatus). Three rounds of selections were performed to enrich the pool of phages with high affinity to the toxin.

Buffer Composition: PBS with 0.02% Proclin 300.

Chimeric Use Statement: This full-length, reformatted human antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Human scFv format, for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.
