Specificity Statement: OX-101 binds specifically to CD47 and has been shown to compete with OX-41 for binding . CD47 acts as an adhesionn receptor for THBS1 on platelets and is involved in the modulation of integrins (signalling). Acts as a SIRPA receptor - SIRPA binding prevents maturation of immature dentritic cells and and inhibits cytokine production by mature dendritic cells. Possibly involved in changes to membrane permeability due to virus infection.
Application Notes (Clone): This antibody can be used for affinity chromatography purification and can block the interaction between OX41-CD4d3+4 beads and cells. In addition OX-101 can be used for FC and WB.
