CloneID: HL1925
Antigen Long Description: The original antibody was generated by immunizing mice with C-terminal CIP2A as an immunogen.
Buffer Composition: PBS with 0.02% Proclin 300.
Available Custom Conjugation Options: AP, HRP, Fluorescein, APC, PE, Biotin Type A, Biotin Type B, Streptavidin, FluoroProbes 647H, Atto488, APC/Cy7, PE/Cy7
Uniprot Accession No.: Q8TCG1
Specificity Statement: This antibody binds human CIP2A (cancerous inhibitor of protein phosphatase 2A). CIP2A is an oncoprotein that inhibits protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A), stabilizes MYC, and is involved in the progression of several human malignancies. It promotes anchorage-independent cell growth and tumor formation. Antibodies against CIP2A are present in sera from many patients with gastric or prostate cancer and acts as prognostic marker in many cancers.
Application Notes (Clone): This antibody can be used for the immunohistochemical staining of CIP2a expressed on the surface of prostate cancer, benign prostatic hyperplasia and high grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia tissues (PMID: 32860375). This antibody can be for the identification of CIP2a protein from cell lysates using western blot (PMID: 31031016).
