Specificity Statement: The antibody recognizes the endothelial leukocyte adhesion molecule-1 (ELAM-1) protein as expressed in COS cells.

Application Notes (Clone): The F(ab')2 fragment of this antibody showed dose-dependent inhibition of cells activated with IL-1 beta, cells used were human granulocytes. The antibody binds to IL-1 activated human endothelial cells (HEC) but not significantly to normal resting HEC.
