Antigen Long Description: The murine MAb 6B6C-1 was originally raised against SLEV. The human-murine chimeric antibody was created combining the variable regions of the murine monoclonal antibody 6B6C-1 and the constant region of human IgM.

Specificity Statement: The antibody is specific for Envelope protein E of WNV. It cross-reacts with multiple members of the flavivirus genus, including WNV, SLEV, YFV, DENV, and JEV.
Application Notes (Clone): The antibody detected the recombinant E glycoprotein of the WNV-VLP by western blot analysis. The specificity of the original format of the antibody was confirmed by ELISA analysis. The antibody was successfully employed for use in the flavivirus human MACELISA (Thibodeaux et al., 2009; PMID: 19297614).
