Specificity Statement: This antibody is specific for Protein F of the Human respiratory syncytial virus A. The exact epitope is very similar to the one shown in PDB:3IXT.
Application Notes (Clone): The original antibody was used for an ELISA on respiratory syncytial virus protein F. Further a plaque reduction assay was performed on the respiratory syncytial virus subtype A2, this assay showed some neutralization of the virus (Correia et al., 2014; PMID:24499818).
