Antigen Long Description: The original antibody was generated by immunizing dromedaries with the trimeric subtype C gp140 SOSIPs followed by antibody library construction and phage display-based selection.

Specificity Statement: The antibody is specific for gp140 SOSIP of subtype C. The antibody cross-reacts with subtypes A and G.

Application Notes (Clone): The specificity of the original format of the antibody was confirmed by competition ELISA analysis. The structure of the antibody was determined. The antibody was able to neutralize subtype C, subtypes A and G (Koch et al. 2017; PMID: 28827559)
