Cedarlane’santi-Human CD35 monoclonal antibody specifically binds human CD35, also knownas Complement receptor type 1 (CR1). CD35 is a membrane glycoprotein that bindsC3b and C4b, and is expressed on granulocytes, monocytes, B cells, folliculardendritic cells, subsets of NK and T cells and erythrocytes. CD35’s affinityfor C3b plays a role in the inactivation of the alternative complement pathwayby affecting the function of C3 convertase.
