Antigen Long Description: The original antibody was isolated from an scFv phage display library generated from the peripheral blood lymphocytes of a healthy human subject. Later one the scFv wea converted to human IgG1.

Specificity Statement: This antibody binds lipoarabinomannan (LAM) of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. LAM is a glycolipid and a virulence factor, having a primary function of inactivating macrophages and scavenging oxidative radicals.

Application Notes (Clone): The binding specificity of this antibody to Mycobacterium tuberculosis lipoarabinomannan (LAM) was determined using ELISA. This antibody is the matched pair of clone A1 (Ab03326) for the detection of LAM in a sandwich ELISA. The colloidal gold-labeled version of this antibody pair was used in the development of a qualitative double antibody sandwich ELISA for the detection of LAM (CN113480659).
