Specificity Statement: The antibody is specific for the Spike protein of MERS Coronavirus.
Application Notes (Clone): The specificity of the original format of the antibody was confirmed by ELISA analysis. The antibody inhibited the binding of MERS virus S protein to cell surface receptor CD26 by flow cytometry. The antibody could neutralize the virus (pseudovirus and live virus) as shown by virus neutralization test. The binding affinity of the antibody to MERS RBD protein was measured by surface plasmon resonance (Kd= 9 nM) (CN104447986A).
