Target: CD86
Clone: GL1
Specificity: Anti-CD86 In Vivo Antibody - Low Endotoxin (GL1) recognizes an epitope on Mouse CD86
Purification method: This monoclonal antibody was purified using Protein G
Antigen Distribution: B cells and T cells (upregulated upon activation), macrophages, dendritic cells, and astrocytes
Background: CD86, also known as B7-2, is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein and a member of the Ig gene superfamily. CD86 is a ligand for CD28 and CD152 (CTLA-4). CD86 is related to the CD80 molecule and functions as a counterreceptor for CD28 and CTLA-4. The GL1 clone has been shown to provide critical signals for T-Cell-dependent responses in vivo and in vitro.
Immunogen: LPS-activated CBA/Ca mouse splenic B cells
