Specificity Statement: This antibody binds human mucin-17, which is a membrane-bound mucin that provides protection to gut epithelial cells from carcinogenic effects of chronic inflammation. It is also indicated that mucin-17 is highly expressed in gastric cancer specimens and is a compelling target for prognosis of gastric cancer.
Application Notes (Clone): This antibody was used in the generation of a bispecific antibody in combination with an anti-CD3 antibody. The bispecific construct designed(US20210130465).
