Antigen Long Description: The original antibody was raised by immunizing a C57BL/6 mouse with NP-CGG.

Buffer Composition: PBS only.

Specificity Statement: This antibody is specific for NP but also shows reactivity to (4-hydroxy-3-nitrophenyl)acetic acid.

Application Notes (Clone): The original antibody was used for an ELISA on NP-BSA. The antibody was used for affinity measurements using fluorescence quenching on NP-Cap and NP-Gly (Taketani et al., 1995; PMID:7477004). The structure of the original antibody was determined using x-ray crystallography (Nishiguchi et al., 2019; PMID:31521018).
