Specificity Statement: The antibody is specific for human-RANK-L. RANKL is a tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-related protein that binds to, and activates, the TNF receptor (TNFR)-related protein Receptor Activator of NF-kB (RANK). RANKL acts as the key cytokine that regulates osteoclast differentiation and activation during normal bone remodeling and during disease.

Application Notes (Clone): The origina antibody was capable of blocking the interactions between RANKL and its receptor RANK. The original antibody could potentially be used in an ELISA analysis (WO2015030701A1)
