Uniprot Accession No.: Q8TDQ0
Specificity Statement: This antibody binds human TIM-3. Hepatitis A virus cellular receptor 2 (HAVCR2), also known as T-cell immunoglobulin and mucin-domain containing-3 (TIM-3), is a protein expressed on the cell surface of IFNγ producing CD4+ Th1 and CD8+ Tc1 cells. This protein is also expressed on the surface of Th17 cells, regulatory T-cells and innate immune cells like dendritic cells, NK cells and monocytes. It is a cell surface receptor implicated in modulating innate and adaptive immune responses.
Application Notes (Clone): This antibody can be used in the detection of human TIM-3 using ELISA. The binding characterization of this antibody for human TIM-3 was done using indirect immunofluorescence labelling and flow cytometry (CN106632675).
