Clone: HM57

Specificity: Recognizes an epitope within the cytoplasmic domain of CD79a. CD79a, also known as mb-1, is a 45kD protein that is expressed by B lymphocytes during differentiation from early pre-B cell stage through to plasma cells. The CD79a molecule associates with CD79b (B29) to form a heterodimer that is non-covalently linked to surface immunoglobulin, forming the B-cell receptor (BCR) complex. The CD79a/CD79b heterodimers are also necessary for intracellular signalling following antigen-binding to surface immunoglobulin

Antibody Modification: Unconjugated

Antigen Modification: Cytoplasmic Domain

Presentation: PBS, 0.09% Sodium Azide

Immunogen: Synthetic peptide corresponding to 202-216 amino acid sequence of human mb-1

Gene: CD79A / CD79 Alpha

Description: CD79 Alpha antibody LS-C44952 is an unconjugated mouse monoclonal antibody to human CD79 Alpha (CD79A) (Cytoplasmic Domain). Validated for Flow, IHC and WB.

Usage: Flow Cytometry: Use 10 ul of the suggested working dilution to label 10^6 cells in 100ul. Membrane permeabilization is required for this application. Immunohistochemistry: This product requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections. Sodium citrate buffer pH 6.0 is recommended for this purpose. Histology Positive Control Tissue: Human tonsil.

Synonyms: CD79A, CD79a antigen, Ig-alpha, MB-1, MB-1 membrane glycoprotein, Surface IgM-associated protein, MB1

Recommended Storage: Store at 4°C or at -20°C. Store undiluted. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles. Microcentrifugation recommended if solution contains precipitate.

Concentration: 1 mg/ml
