Description: Demeclocycline (Declostatin) is a tetracycline antibiotic produced by a strain of Streptomyces aureofaciens.Demeclocycline has antimicrobial activity and inhibits the action of vasopressin on the renal tubules, leading to diuresis. Demeclocycline can be used to induce diuresis and acute renal failure.
