Rat IgG2a Isotype Control Antibody (FITC)

Specificity: Rat IgG2a Negative Control antibody is suitable for the assessment of the level of non-specific binding of rat IgG2a monoclonal antibodies to mouse cells. Test results indicate Rat IgG2a Negative Control antibody is also suitable for use as a negative control with dog cells. N. B. recognizes a human cell surface marker, and therefore is not suitable as a negative control in human cells or cell lines.

Usage: It is suggested that the user adjusts the concentration of this reagent to be the same as the test reagent. Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 10^6 cells in 100ul. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.

Recommended Storage: Store at 4°C or at -20°C. Store undiluted. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles. Protect from light. Microcentrifugation recommended if solution contains precipitate.
