It inhibits the growth of A549 human lung adenocarcinoma cells (IC50 = 0.48 µM).{27848} It also inhibits degranulation of RBL-2H3 mast cells (IC50 = 16 µM).{50711} Oral administration of docosahexaenoyl serinol (20 mg/animal) suppresses the IgE-dependent passive cutaneous anaphylaxis (PCA) reaction by 17% in mice.
