Notes: IPA-3 is an allosteric inhibitor of p21-activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activation (IC50 = 2.5 µM) that does not inhibit pre-activated PAK1.{23497} It selectively inhibits activation of the group I PAKs, PAK1, PAK2, and PAK3 over the group II PAKs, PAK4, PAK5, and PAK6 at 10 µM. IPA-3 inhibits the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) endoribonuclease nsp15 in a FRET assay (IC50 = 6.8 µM) and inhibits SARS-CoV-2 replication in infected Vero CCL-81 cells (IC50 = 8.5 µM).{66527} It inhibits the proliferation of H2M and MHCC97-L metastatic hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and non-metastatic HepG2 HCC cells when used at concentrations of 5 and 10 µM.
