Specificity: Detects human IgE. This non-therapeutic antibody uses the same sequence as the therapeutic antibody Omalizumab.

Purification method: This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype.

Background: Omalizumab biosimilar is a recombinant DNA-derived humanized IgG1κ monoclonal antibody that selectively binds to human immunoglobulin E (IgE). The antibody has a molecular weight of approximately 149 kiloDaltons. Omalizumab is produced by a Chinese hamster ovary cell suspension culture in a nutrient medium.

Concentration: 1.0 - 5.0 mg/ml

Formulation: Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) pH 7.2,with no carrier protein, potassium or preservatives added. BSA and Azide free.

Purity: >95% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC

Endotoxin: ≤ 1.0 EU/mg as determined by the LAL method
