Protein Tag: N-His
Uniprot: P40933
Accession: P40933
Background: Cytokine that stimulates the proliferation of T-lymphocytes (PubMed:8178155).Stimulation by IL15 requires interaction of IL15 with components of the IL2 receptor, including IL2RB and probably IL2RG but not IL2RA (PubMed:8178155).In neutrophils, stimulates phagocytosis probably by signaling through the IL15 receptor, composed of the subunits IL15RA, IL2RB and IL2RG, which results in kinase SYK activation (PubMed:15123770).
Bio Acitivity: Not validated for activity
Sequence: Asn49-Ser162
Purity: > 95% as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4., 5% trehalose, 5% mannitol, 0.01% Tween 80.
Normally 5%-8% trehalose, mannitol and 0.01% Tween 80 are added as protectants before lyophilization.
Please refer to the specific buffer information in the printed manual.
Reconstitution: It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.5 mg/mL. Concentration is measured by UV-Vis.
Endotoxin: < 10 EU/mg of the protein as determined by the LAL method.
Calculated MW: 15.1 kDa
Observed MW: 15 kDa
