Products from BPS Bioscience require a minimum order value above 400€
Encompassing Amino Acids: 67-406
Assay Conditions: Assay was performed using BPS's Renin Assay kit, cat. # 80211, following the recommended assay protocol.
Background: Renin is a protease that is synthesized by the kidneys. Renin catalyzes the hydrolysis of angiotensinogen to angiotensin I, which is converted to angiotensin II, a highly potent vasoconstrictor. Renin inhibitors have been used therapeutically in the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure).
