Cetuximab Biosimilar - Research Grade

Target: EGFR.

Specificity: Detects human EGFR. This non-therapeutic antibody uses the same sequence as the therapeutic antibody Cetuximab.

Purification method: This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype.

Background: Cetuximab biosimilar is a recombinant, human/mouse chimeric monoclonal antibody that binds specifically to the extracellular domain of the human epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). Cetuximab biosimilar is composed of the Fv regions of a murine anti-EGFR antibody with human IgG1 heavy and kappa light chain constant regions and has an approximate molecular weight of 152 kDa. Cetuximab biosimilar is produced in mammalian (Chinese Hamster Ovary) cell culture.

Concentration: 1.0 - 5.0 mg/ml.

Formulation: Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) pH 7.2,with no carrier protein, potassium or preservatives added. BSA and Azide free.

Purity: >95% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC.

Endotoxin: ≤ 0.75 EU/mg as determined by the LAL method.
