Nimotuzumab Biosimilar - Research Grade

Target: EGFR.

Specificity: Detects human EGFR. This non-therapeutic antibody uses the same sequence as the therapeutic antibody Nimotuzumab.

Purification method: This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype.

Background: Nimotuzumab biosimilar has a humanized human-mouse h-R3 heavy chain and a humanized human-mouse h-R3κ-chain. nimotuzumab binds to the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), a signalling protein that normally controls cell division.

Concentration: 1.0 - 5.0 mg/ml.

Formulation: Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) pH 7.2,with no carrier protein, potassium or preservatives added. BSA and Azide free.

Purity: >95% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC.

Endotoxin: ≤ 0.75 EU/mg as determined by the LAL method.
