BI-605906 partially inhibits IL-1-stimulated activation of IKKε/TBK1 in vitro. BI-605906 also inhibits TNF-α-dependent IkB degradation and expression of the proinflammatory cytokines IL-6, IL-1β, and C-X-C motif ligand 1/2 (CXCL1/2) without affecting lipogenic gene expression or glucose production in murine primary hepatocytes.{40150}
