Antigen Long Description: The original antibody was generated by fusing the peripheral blood lymphocytes of three patients with SLE with a mouse-human heteromyeloma cell line, CB-F7.

Chimeric Use Statement: This is a reformatted human IgG1 Fc Silent™ antibody, based on the original human IgG1 format, created for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.
Specificity Statement: The antibody is specific for the negatively charged phospholipids (PS, PI, PG, CL). The antibody does not cross-react with neutral phospholipids (PE, PC).
Application Notes (Clone): The specificity of the original format of the antibody was confirmed by ELISA analysis. The antibody demonstrates lupus anticoagulant activity (Menon et al., 1997; PMID: 9080299).
