Cell Seperation

Cederlane´s Lympholyte® Cell separation medium provides an elegant and straightforward solution for isolating living lymphocytes from mouse, rat, rabbit, human and other mammalian cell populations from peripheral blood and a variety of lymphoid cell suspensions / tissues. During the separation, erythrocytes, dead cells and cell debris are removed, thus reducing the contamination of the cell population obtained. For example Lympholyte®-M is used to eliminate erythrocytes, dead cells and debris from spleen, lymph nodes, thymus and bone marrow of mice. The cell population obtained thereby shows a high and non-selective yield of living lymphocytes, which can serve as target cells in flow cytometry assays, as well as cytotoxicity, in vivo and in vitro studies.

The Lympholyte® product line might be used in the following applications:
Cytotoxicity studies, B-cell degradation, isolation of viable cells and removal of dead cells and debris from various cloned cells and hybridomas, isolation of murine nucleated epidermal cells.
