CloneID: CA50Ab01
Heavy Chain modification: Fc Silent™
Antigen Long Description: The original antibody was generated by immunizing mice with CA50 protein.
Buffer Composition: PBS with 0.02% Proclin 300.
Chimeric Use Statement: This is a reformatted human IgG1 Fc Silent™ antibody, based on the original human IgG1 format, created for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.
Available Custom Conjugation Options: AP, HRP, Fluorescein, APC, PE, Biotin Type A, Biotin Type B, Streptavidin, FluoroProbes 647H, Atto488, APC/Cy7, PE/Cy7
Specificity Statement: This antibody binds tumor marker CA50. CA50 is a carbohydrate antigen that is mainly distributed in sugar esters and high molecular glycoprotein. CA50 is not organ-specific and elevated levels are seen in various conditions such as colitis, pancreatitis, pneumonia, and cancers, especially gastrointestinal cancers (e.g., pancreatic, stomach, hepatic, and colorectal cancers).
Application Notes (Clone): The binding reactivity of this antibody to CA50 tumor marker was determined using indirect ELISA. This antibody was also used in the immunofluorescence staining of pancreatic cancer cells expressing CA50 (CN108424455).
