Specificity Statement: This antibody binds CCHFV. Crimean-Congo Haemorrhagic Fever virus (CCHFV) is a tick-borne pathogen belonging to the genus Orthonairovirus of the family Nairoviridae within the order Bunyavirales that is responsible for the disease Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever (CCHF). CCHF is a zoonotic disease typically spread by tick bites or close contact with the blood, secretions, organs or other bodily fluids of infected persons or animals. The CCHF virus causes severe viral haemorrhagic fever outbreaks, with a case fatality rate of 10–40%.
Application Notes (Clone): The antibody was capable of detecting the recombinant CCHFV nuceloprotein in an ELISA (PMID: 36496007).
