Antigen Long Description: The original antibody was generated be immunizing KM mice with an emulsion prepared by mixing the Nectin-2ED-Fc protein and Nectin-2ED-FLAG protein.

Buffer Composition: PBS with 0.02% Proclin 300.

Available Custom Conjugation Options: AP, HRP, Fluorescein, APC, PE, Biotin Type A, Biotin Type B, Streptavidin, FluoroProbes 647H, Atto488, APC/Cy7, PE/Cy7

Uniprot Accession No.: Q92692

Specificity Statement: This antibody binds an epitope between amino acids 47-142 of the human CD112 (Nectin-2) and does not cross reacts with cynomolgus monkey CD112. It is also capable of binding G113R and H128R mutants of human CD112. Nectin-2 acts as a modulator of T-cell signaling. It can be either a costimulator of T-cell function, or a coinhibitor, depending on the receptor it binds to. Upon binding to CD226, stimulates T-cell proliferation and cytokine production, including that of IL2, IL5, IL10, IL13, and IFNG. Upon interaction with PVRIG, inhibits T-cell proliferation.

Application Notes (Clone): The binding of this antibody to CD112 or Nectin-2 expressed on the surface of CHO cells was determined using whole cell ELISA. The reactivity of this antibody for human CD112 expressed on CHO-K1 cells was checked using flow cytometry. This antibody shows good ADCC activity against OV-90 human ovarian cancer cell lines. The in-vivo anti-tumor activity of this antibody was checked in nude mice models subcutaneously-transplanted with the OV-90 human ovarian cancer cell line (US20100008928).
