CloneID: DN9
Antigen Long Description: The original antibody was generated by immunizing 4-6 weeks old female SPF or BALB/c mice with human DNAM-1 commercial antigen.
Buffer Composition: PBS with 0.02% Proclin 300.
Chimeric Use Statement: This chimeric human antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Mouse IgG1 format for improved compatibility with existing reagents assays and techniques.
Available Custom Conjugation Options: AP, HRP, Fluorescein, APC, PE, Biotin Type A, Biotin Type B, Streptavidin, FluoroProbes 647H, Atto488, APC/Cy7, PE/Cy7
Uniprot Accession No.: Q15762
Specificity Statement: This antibody binds human CD226. This protein is expressed on the surface of natural killer cells, platelets, monocytes and a subset of T cells. It is involved in intercellular adhesion, lymphocyte signaling, cytotoxicity and lymphokine secretion mediated by cytotoxic T-lymphocyte (CTL) and NK cell. It acts as cell surface receptor for NECTIN2. On binding with ligand it stimulates T-cell proliferation and cytokine production, including that of IL2, IL5, IL10, IL13, and IFNG.
Application Notes (Clone): The binding characterization of this antibody to human CD226 was done using ELISA. This antibody was used for the detection of CD226 expressed on Jurkat cells using flow cytometry (CN112940122).
