Application Notes (Clone): The original version of this antibody was used to catalyse disfavoured endo-tet cyclization reactions of trans-epoxy alcohols (Gruber et al., 1999; PMID:10353817). The structure of the fab version of the antibody was determined using x-ray crystallography (Gruber et al., 1999; PMID:10353817, Karpusas et al., 2001; PMID:11525169). The original antibody was used for flow cytometry on D1.1 cells. It only showed binding to D1.1 cells but not to B2.7 cells. This antibody was used for immunoprecipitation on Jurkat cell lysates and precipitated a 30kDa protein. This antibody also shows the ability to inhibit D1.1 cell induced B cell activation (Lederman et al., 1992; PMID:1348081). The half life of this antibody in cynomolgus monkeys was measured. The data suggested a half life between 300-500 hours. This antibody was tested in vivo on cynomolgus monkeys. When first given this antibody and then performing a tetanus toxoid challenge it decreased antibody titres (Gobburu et al., 1998; PMID:9694951).
