CloneID: CY1788
Antigen Long Description: The original antibody was generated by replacing the murine variable regions of the monoclonal antibody CY1787 with human sequences.
Buffer Composition: PBS with 0.02% Proclin 300.
Available Custom Conjugation Options: AP, HRP, Fluorescein, APC, PE, Biotin Type A, Biotin Type B, Streptavidin, FluoroProbes 647H, Atto488, APC/Cy7, PE/Cy7
Uniprot Accession No.: P16581
Specificity Statement: This antibody is specific for E-selectin. E-selectin is a cell surface receptor that mediates the binding of neutrophils, monocytes, and some types of memory T cells to the endothelial cells that line blood vessels.
Application Notes (Clone): The original version of this antibody (human IgG4) was generated, and its binding efficiency to a soluble form of E-selectin was compared to that of the parental mouse antibody via competitive ELISA. It demonstrated 65% of the binding efficiency of the parental clone. Additionally, this antibody inhibited the in vitro binding of human neutrophils to activated human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) in vitro as effectively as the parental antibody (WO1996040942A1).
