CloneID: 3A8
Antigen Long Description: The original antibody was generated by immunizing BALB/c mice with human D-dimer as an immunogen.
Buffer Composition: PBS with 0.02% Proclin 300.
Available Custom Conjugation Options: AP, HRP, Fluorescein, APC, PE, Biotin Type A, Biotin Type B, Streptavidin, FluoroProbes 647H, Atto488, APC/Cy7, PE/Cy7
Uniprot Accession No.: P02671
Specificity Statement: This antibody binds fragment D chains of fibrinogen (Fragment D), also called D-dimer. D-dimer is a protein fragment (small piece) that's made when a blood clot dissolves in your body. At D-dimer test is done to determine if a person has any blood clotting disorder.
Application Notes (Clone): The initial binding characterization of this antibody to human D-dimer fragment was done using ELISA. DD-3A8 and DD-2E7 bind different epitope of the human D-dimer fragment and can be used as antibody pair for detection of blood coagulation, where DD-3A8 acts as a capture antibody and DD-2E7 is used as detection antibody. The sensitivity of the double sandwich ELISA was reported to be 0.25 μg/ml (CN111057149).
