Antigen Long Description: A Fab antibody phage display library was generated from the peripheral blood lymphocytes of immunized donors. The antibody was selected by panning the library against recombinant E protein domain III from WNV.

Specificity Statement: The antibody is specific for the envelope protein domain IIII of WNV.
Application Notes (Clone): The specificity of the original format of the antibody was confirmed by ELISA analysis. The antibody detected the envelope protein domain IIII by western blot analysis. The antibody was employed to perform IFA assay to detect WNV in Vero cells. The antibody exhibited significant neutralizing activity, and completely blocked 100 pfu WNV infection in Vero cells at a concentration 80 μg/ml (Duan et al., 2009; PMID: 2050585).
