Specificity Statement: This antibody is specific for the precursor membrane of dengue fever. L3 and S5 are important amino acids for its epitope.
Application Notes (Clone): The original antibody was used for an ELISA on whole dengue virus (Smith et al., 2015; PMID:26512092), and on DENV3 (Wirawan et al., 2019; PMID:30471923). This antibody showed binding to all dengue virus types. This antibody was used for western blotting on PrM protein. This antibody was used for an ADE assay. This assay showed that this antibody can enhance a dengue fever infection (Smith et al., 2015; PMID:26512092, Wirawan et al., 2019; PMID:30471923). The structure of this antibody was determined using cryo-EM. This antibody was used for a virus-liposome co-floatation assay on LoVo cells with DENV2. This antibody was used for BioLayer Interferometry analysis on recombinant prM:E in PBS-T. This antibody was also used for Hydrogen Deuterium Exchange on the prM:E protein (Wirawan et al., 2019; PMID:30471923).
