Specificity Statement: This antibody is specific for a region in aa 412 to 423 of the envelope glycoprotein E2.

Application Notes (Clone): The original antibody was used for a neutralization assay on Huh7.5 cells mixed with HCVcc isolates (Keck et al., 2013; PMID:23097455, El-Diwany et al., 2017; PMID:28235087), and on Huh7.5 cells with recombinant HCV (Prentoe et al., 2016; PMID:27351277). The original antibody was used for an ELISA on wild-type and ΔHVR1 HCV E2 glycoproteins (Keck et al., 2016; PMID:26739044), on E1E2 variants with resistance to broadly neutralizing antibodies (El-Diwany et al., 2017; PMID:28235087).
