CloneID: 694-D
Antigen Long Description: The original antibody was generated by Epstein-Barr virus transformation of peripheral blood mononuclear cells from HIV-seropositive individuals and screening for reactivity against the rgp120IIIB peptide.
Buffer Composition: PBS with 0.02% Proclin 300.
Available Custom Conjugation Options: AP, HRP, Fluorescein, APC, PE, Biotin Type A, Biotin Type B, Streptavidin, FluoroProbes 647H, Atto488, APC/Cy7, PE/Cy7
Uniprot Accession No.: P05877
Specificity Statement: This antibody is specific for the GRAF sequence of the gp120 V3 loop of HIV-1.
Application Notes (Clone): The original version of this antibody (human IgG1) was characterized for its specificity and reactivity using ELISA and IB assays. In the ELISA, it reacted with the V3 of HIV strains MN, SF-2, HXB2, RF, WM52, NY5, SC, and CDC4 with an affinity (Kd) of 1.8 µM and 12.0 µM for SF-2 and HXB2, respectively. In an IB, this antibody reacted with gp120HTLV-IIIB. In in vitro neutralization assays, this antibody exhibited neutralizing activity against multiple HIV-1 strains, exhibiting broad reactivity (US5914109A).
