CloneID: anti-HLA-A0201/EBNA1 antibody
Antigen Long Description: The original antibody was generated by immunizing BALB/c mice with EBV nuclear antigen 1 (EBNA1) protein of Epstein Barr virus.
Buffer Composition: PBS with 0.02% Proclin 300.
Available Custom Conjugation Options: AP, HRP, Fluorescein, APC, PE, Biotin Type A, Biotin Type B, Streptavidin, FluoroProbes 647H, Atto488, APC/Cy7, PE/Cy7
Uniprot Accession No.: P03211
Specificity Statement: The antibody targets Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) associated tumor cells by binding to HLA/EBNA1 peptide complexes. The antibody recognizes EBNA1 epitope presented on HLA-A0201, HLA-A203, HLA-A0206 and HLA-A0207. Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) is a ubiquitous human herpesvirus, which is found as a predominantly asymptomatic infection in all human communities. EBV has been linked to numerous human tumours of diverse tissue origin.
Application Notes (Clone): The antibody is specific for EBV-EBNA-1, as detected by FC. The binding affinity of the original format of the antibody to HLA-A0201/EBNA-1 was measured by surface plasmon resonance (Kd= 6.02nM). This antibody was used for detection of HLA-A0201/EBNA1 complexes expressed on CCRF-SB and RPMI6666 tumour cells by flow cytometry. The antibody was used for immunological staining of EBV infected-HLA-A0201 positive nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) biopsy. This biopsy was observed to stain positive for HLA-A0201/EBNA1 complexes (WO2015199617A1).
