CloneID: D2-57

Heavy Chain modification: His-Tagged

Antigen Long Description: The original antibody was raised using human phage display library FAB-300. To screen the library purified locked-open HA, locked-closed LA, and wild-type I domains of LFA-1 were used.

Buffer Composition: PBS only.

Uniprot Accession No.: P20701

Specificity Statement: This antibody is specific for the LFA-1 I domain in a HA conformation.

Application Notes (Clone): The original antibody was used for an ELISA on LFA-1 HA I domain. This antibody was used for immunofluorescence on K562 cells with different LFA-1 conformations. Furthermore this antibody was used for flow cytometry on K562 cells with different LFA-1 conformations (Huang et al., 2006; PMID:16888085), and on IL-15-cultured T lymphocytes (Shimaoka et al., 2006; PMID:16963559). This antibody was used for an ICAM-1 blocking assay on HA cells, to determine the effect of the antibody to inhibit ligand binding. The antibody was used for a PHA-induced lymphocyte proliferation assay on PBMCs, to determine the effect of the antibody on these cells. It did indeed block PHA-induced lymphocyte proliferation (Huang et al., 2006; PMID:16888085). This antibody was used for surface plasmon resonance on LFA-1 I domain to determine its binding affinity (Shimaoka et al., 2006; PMID:16963559). The structure of this antibody was determined using x-ray crystallography (Zhang et al., 2009; PMID:19805116).
