Specificity Statement: This antibody recognizes and binds chicken Newcastle disease virus (NDV). NDV is an avian disease causing a deadly infection in many domestic and wild bird species; it is transmissible to humans. In humans, NDV causes mild flu-like symptoms or conjunctivitis and/or laryngitis.
Application Notes (Clone): The binding characterization of this antibody to chicken Newcastle disease virus was done using ELISA and western blot. This antibody does not cross react with bursal disease virus and avian influenza, Marek’s virus and adenoviruses (CN101070541).
