CloneID: M508
Heavy Chain modification: Fc Silent™
Antigen Long Description: The original antibody was generated by immunizing wild-type mice with full-length extracellular portion of human ROR1 protein.
Buffer Composition: PBS with 0.02% Proclin 300.
Chimeric Use Statement: This is a reformatted human IgG1 Fc Silent™ antibody, based on the original human IgG1 format, created for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.
Available Custom Conjugation Options: AP, HRP, Fluorescein, APC, PE, Biotin Type A, Biotin Type B, Streptavidin, FluoroProbes 647H, Atto488, APC/Cy7, PE/Cy7
Uniprot Accession No.: Q01973
Specificity Statement: This antibody binds the human ROR1. ROR1 is a type I membrane protein and belongs to the ROR subfamily of cell surface receptors. It is a pseudo kinase that lacks catalytic activity. Receptor tyrosine kinase ROR1 plays an essential role in embryogenesis and is overexpressed in many types of malignant tumors. Antibody-based immunotherapies targeting ROR1 have been developed and evaluated in preclinical and clinical studies with promising outcomes.
Application Notes (Clone): The binding reactivity of this antibody to full-length extracellular portion of human ROR1 protein and its truncated forms was done using ELISA. The binding reactivity and specificity of this antibody was comparable with another anti-ROR1 antibody R12. The mouse-human chimeric IgG1 version of this antibody binds human ROR1 with a binding affinity of Kd= 1.4 nM. This antibody could bind human ROR1 expressed on the surface of breast cancer cell line MDA-MB-231 in a flow cytometric assay. This antibody is recommended for detection of human ROR1 expressing tumor cells (CN114539411).
